Looking for a Wilier gravel bike? At Cicli Mattio you will find the Rave SLR ID2, Adlar and Jaroon models, equipped with Shimano GRX and SRAM XPLR groupsets. If you have any doubts about the model or size, write to us or call us: we will advise you.
Wilier Triestina was founded in 1906 in Bassano del Grappa and is one of the historic brands of Italian cycling. This experience in road bikes has been channeled into the gravel range. The result is frames designed to perform well on unpaved surfaces without losing the character of an Italian road bike.
At Cicli Mattio, in the province of Cuneo, we follow the brand closely. You can find the complete selection in the gravel bike category, and if you prefer to compare other brands, also Bianchi gravel and Cannondale gravel.
The range is divided into three families, each for a type of cyclist and outing. If you want a direct comparison, the price list above shows all available versions.
The Rave SLR ID2 is the most high-performing model. It is designed for those seeking speed, responsiveness, and lightness, in races or long, fast rides on unpaved surfaces. With us, you can find it in many configurations: with Shimano GRX 715 Di2, with SRAM Rival XPLR, up to the top versions with Force XPLR, Red XPLR and powermeter. The wheels also vary (Graff, Sterrato, Kleos), to be chosen based on the terrain you face.
The Adlar is the choice for those who pedal for hours, load the bike, and aim for distance rather than the stopwatch. The riding position is more comfortable and the setup more stable. You can find it with Shimano GRX 1x12 or with SRAM Rival XPLR AXS. For a trip, complete the bike with bike bags and a GPS cycling computer.
The Jaroon is the most accessible way to enter the Wilier world. It is suitable for a first approach to gravel, but also for those who want a solid bike for dirt roads and mixed rides. It is available with GRX 1x12 or with GRX 2x12, useful if you seek more gears for long climbs.
The two families have different approaches:
In summary: if you want reliability and simplicity, choose GRX. If you aim for lightness and performance, consider XPLR. If you have doubts, ask the workshop: we can also evaluate wheels and tires based on your terrain.
The right size affects comfort, control, and efficiency. As a general indication, based on height:
| Size | Indicative height |
|---|---|
| XS | 160-168 cm |
| S | 168-175 cm |
| M | 174-181 cm |
| L | 180-188 cm |
| XL | over 186 cm |
These are indicative values: arm and leg length and the type of riding position you prefer also matter. If you are between two sizes, ask us for advice before purchasing. For more precise measurements and adjustments, you can also rely on our workshop. You can also find assembly instructions if you receive it at home.
