For example, an essential factor guaranteeing the quality of the wheel is the tension of the spokes. It is this hidden strength that makes it durable, ensures precise steering and offers the possibility of acceleration.

The main and most popular lines of road wheels are: Aero, Performance, Endurance, Cross Road, Gravel and Track. Some examples of Cicli Mattio's best-selling models are the DT Swiss Prc 1100 Mon Chasseral with a low profile for climbs; the 180s hub is a guarantee of extreme smoothness and lightness. A very popular multi-purpose wheel is the ARC1100 with 180s hub (or the ARC1400 version with 240s hub) thanks to its versatility and the possibility of choosing various profile heights that vary between 48mm, 62mm and 80mm, thus allowing the right wheel for all terrains.

Regarding the off-road world, the most popular MTB wheels are the XRC 1200 Spline for the Cross Country world, the XMC1200 Spline for the All mountain world, and the EXC in the Enduro world.

For example, for the Cross Country sector, it is important to reduce rolling resistance as much as possible, so DT Swiss has thought of increasing the internal width of the rim to 30 mm, thus making it possible to ride with a lower inflation pressure than with a narrower rim, without the risk of the tyre bending when cornering. The XRC 1200 Spline model respects this technology.

In the development of wheel components, it is particularly important for DT Swiss to improve every aspect and detail, so the production of top-class hubs was necessary to guarantee high standards. In particular we can mention the Ratchet range, a technology that has developed and improved over the years based on the simultaneous engagement of teeth, which significantly increases the distribution of loads over a large contact surface area.

Completing the DT Swiss components catalogue are the forks, dedicated in particular to the XC world. One example is the F 232 One model: this fork is designed to cope with steeper descents, more technical climbs and even artificial obstacles.
