ENVE SES 7.8 Tubular Carbon Wheelset 2019

When you have to race against the wind and against the clock, the SES 7.8 is the one for you. Thanks to the reduction of compromises between aerodynamics, stability, weight and rigidity, the SES 7.8 aerodynamic carbon fiber wheel is the perfect tool for triathlons and road races. This model has two circles of different geometry: the front one is 71 mm high and 29 mm wide, while the rear one is 80 mm high and 27.5 mm wide. The different geometry of the rims takes full advantage of the air flow that is created in the frame-wheel system. To keep up with the new bikes with 25 mm tires, the SES 7.8 has been designed for wider tires. Moreover, with the introduction by manufacturers of frames of models equipped with a greater light between wheel and frame, the design variants related to the wheels themselves are also extended. The SES 7.8 is designed precisely for this type of frame. In addition to boasting a brand new shape and structure, the SES 7.8 is compatible with tubeless road tires and features a new carbon fiber braking track, made using our innovative molding process. In combination with the ENVE carbon road hub, the SES 7.8 reaches a weight of 1562 grams, which makes it an excellent choice for racing on flat and hilly terrain.
