C64 telescope is handmade and completely customized in Italy. It is the result of more than 2 years of research, my daughter the son of a company that has been collecting successes and innovations for more than 60 years.,
355 grams of resistance
Completely redesigned, it is more rigid and resistant and weighs 40 grams less.
The C64 fork has been completely redesigned, with an external rib that gives the athlete greater comfort but reed driving quality (lateral stiffness). Due to the rigidity of the resistance, it is a special feature of the head tube, co-laminated with a threaded aluminum insert which also replaces the traditional expander. The C64 fork disc is made with a special C / D shape to allow the passage of the hydraulic tubes inside the stem to be completed, for a total cleaning of the lines. It passes through the front, again from 12mm as from disk C60, it is now of the threaded type and exact engagement, for the maximum weight reduction of the system.
Weighing just 355gr, with the shape of the disc version the traditional brake fork is a direct game for the use of wide section tires. The length of the fork has been increased by 5mm, a stratagem that made it possible to create a hollow fork head, reducing the weight but the same rigidity and performance of the C60 fork.
The trains are now made of carbon fiber, made with a process similar to metal forging.
More technology, less weight
Lighter and with a reduced special, unidirectional fiber and special internal ribbing.
Anchoring exerts the same shape as the C60 conjunction, it is the C64's steering system made with a new technology that has made it possible to reduce the thickness and therefore the weight. The shape has also been revised in the central part, with the addition of a pronounced rib to increase lateral stiffness. Come for the rest of the frame, the surface finish is now in uni directional carbon, instead of 3k, for a further weight reduction.
Greater driving ease
Special carbon, nylon and elastomer polymer reduces road vibrations.
Based on the experience we have gained with the concept headset, we wanted to bring that technology to the C64 model as well. The upper part of the steering has been revised in a special polymer composed of carbon fiber, nylon and elastomer. This feature offers an added ability to dampen road vibrations, improving driving characteristics and comfort.
Less twisting, more reactivity
The stellar section and the reduced width increase the torsional rigidity.
Starting from the star shape of the C60 down tube, we have revised the lower part, now of slightly reduced width. This choice made it possible to more effectively balance the rigidity of the central area of the frame. Due to the torsional rigidity and the integration of the components, the oblique tube tube presented a lowered area near the bottle-holder support.
Although C64 is not a chassis born with aerodynamic ambitions, this feature is an advantage over a traditional solution. It can be used as a tool for post-mortem education in secondary education.
Rigidity and lightness without compromise
Single piece monocoque, to make it a stiffer frame without increasing weight.
Probably the most obvious differentiation C60 and C64 is represented by the seat tube, in it model if founded with the saddle joint to form a single monocoque piece. This feature added to the rigidity of the frame, pure weight it contained. Always visible in this particular in the coupling of the rear stays, no longer straight but with a conical shape, to increase the bonding strength and therefore the overall rigidity.
A more elegant line, with a completely hidden seatpost locking system.
It was very useful and structurally integrated. Instead of setting up a vertical it enters as on V2 and concept, it has C64 has a single lower wedge. The weight reduction is about 15gr the frame contact area is reinforced thanks to an aluminum core co-molded together with the carbon.
Square section for greater rigidity and better absorption of roughness.
Based on the shape of the V1-r seat post, it offers a slight gain at a lower aerodynamic level
